Do your prices include VAT?

No, the prices displayed are excluding VAT.

- VAT is charged at 17.5% on all orders which are invoiced within the UK and Europe.
- Orders which are invoiced to VAT registered businesses in Europe (non UK) are zero rated.
- All orders outside Europe are VAT exempt.

How can I pay for my order?

We take the majority of pro-forma payments by credit / debit cards. Customers who hold a credit account with us typically pay by BACS or cheque.

Can I pay by credit card, Paypal etc.?

We can take payments by major credit / debit cards; Visa, MasterCard, Maestro etc. Due to increased costs incurred by us we do not accept Paypal..

Is there a fee levied for paying by credit / debit card?

No, there is no surcharge levied on card payments. Please bear in mind there is a minimum order value. There is also a carriage fee applicable to orders below £500.

Can I pay by direct debit?

No.

Do you offer credit facilities?

Can I e-mail my credit application to you?

If you can clearly scan the completed application form, you can e-mail to us at: creditcontrol@starperfumes.com. If the quality of the scan is not adequate we will request the form to be either mailed or faxed to us with any other relevant documents.

Can I have a trade account when I only sell on ebay?

Yes.

Can I see my account online?

No. Please contact credit control if you have any questions regarding your account.

Why isn't my credit / debit card payment showing on my statement?

It takes three - four working days for a payment to show on our bank statement. When it does, this is when we credit your account.

What countries do you supply outside the UK?

Providing payment is secure, your location is irrelevant. If logistics are not an issue we will supply any country in the world.

How much is to ship x country?

Each order is different. We supply customers by both sea and air. We will work with you to find your preferred solution.

How quick can you get the goods over to me?

Under normal circumstances we aim to offer a 48 - 72 hour turnaround within the UK. If an order is received on a Monday morning we would aim to have it picked, packed and dispatched by Tuesday. Export orders will obviously take longer and we are happy to advise on timeframes when an order is placed. Through September – December deliveries maybe delayed and the likelihood of this increases in the lead up to Christmas. During this period you are best advised to place your order early. Feel free to contact us for an estimate on delivery.

Are the quantities displayed on the websites up-to-date?

We endeavour to keep the website updated as frequently as possible but due to fast changing stock volumes we cannot guarantee that all quantities are accurate. To get a firm indication of stock quantities you are best contacting us.

I ordered goods from you and only got half the quantity I ordered. Why is this?

This is due to the fact that multiple orders get picked every day and stock quantities are continually changing. If you want a definitive answer on what is available for dispatch at any given time you are best to call us prior to placing the order. In some instances we can reserve goods but this usually requires payment up front.

Can you do drop shipping to x country?

No we do not offer a drop shipping facility. If however you can supply a consistent volume of orders on a regular basis in excess of 50pcs a day, please contact sales.

How much discount do you give on bulk orders?

We work with all our established customers who are buying in large quantities. As with most FMCG, discounts often depend on volume and availability.

Can I come and visit you?

Yes, you are welcome to come and visit us. Please contact us to make an appointment.

I want to pick up my own shipment, is this possible?

Yes, if you arrange it with us you are welcome to pick up your order. Make sure you notify us when you are placing your order that you intend to pick it up.

How much is delivery?

Delivery within the UK is free for orders with a minimum value of £300 (ex. VAT). The minimum order value is £300
